Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
FineWebs (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our public website (https://finewebs.net), submit inquiries, start a client chat, or use the authenticated Workspace (https://finewebs.net/app and related app routes).
For paid project work, additional confidentiality or data-processing terms may appear in your Commercial Agreement or a data processing addendum where required.
Information we collect
Marketing site and inquiries. When you use the contact form, email us, or similar channels, we collect what you provide (such as name, email, company, and message content).
Start chat / client onboarding. When you request a secure link via Start chat, we collect your email (and optional name) to send a sign-in link and to create or match a client Workspace account tied to your organization’s project.
Workspace and delivery. When signed in, we process account and profile details (name, email, role), organization and project membership, chat messages, file attachments you upload, meeting or integration metadata your organization configures, and similar data needed to operate collaboration features.
Technical data. We may log IP address, device and browser type, timestamps, and diagnostic data for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. Session cookies or similar technologies are used to keep you signed in to the Workspace.
How we use information
To respond to inquiries, operate and secure the Site and Workspace, deliver projects, communicate about your account, improve our services, and comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
Service providers. We use subprocessors for infrastructure and communications—for example, hosting, database, transactional email (such as magic-link delivery), and error monitoring—under contractual obligations to protect data.
Your organization. If you are part of a client organization, owners and assigned project managers may see Workspace content relevant to shared projects, consistent with how the product is designed.
Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention
We retain information as long as needed to provide the Workspace, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods can vary by data type and contract; contact us to discuss deletion where applicable.
Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and caution when sharing sensitive information in chat.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the email in the site footer. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
International users
FineWebs may process data in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the Site or Workspace, you understand that data may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
Children
The Site and Workspace are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may be communicated through the Site, Workspace, or email where appropriate.
